  1. Event Coordinator

    EVENT COORDINATOR
    Responsible for maintaining the Events & Contests section of GASR. Event coordinators organize the fun events & contests that are held on GASR and find new ways to improve community engagement.
    R E Q U I R E M E N T S AN ACTIVE MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING POSSESSES WEBSITE KNOWLEDGE & OTHER SKILLS Visits GASR often, preferably several times daily. Has a Discord account and knows how to use the program.
    No warnings in the past 6 months.
    Has 0 points at the time of applying.
    Understands and accepts the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Art Theft Guidelines.
    Has extensive knowledge about GASR and the community environment.
    Contributes via topics/posts, gallery uploads, group activity, event participation, etc. on a regular basis.
    Knows how to use the messenger and IM chat system. Can compose topics and posts with formatting.
    Can locate important documentation, such as guidelines, policies, and guides. Must be able to read and write fluently in English. Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
    Has excellent communications skills and works well within a team environment.
    Can resolve conflicts efficiently and consistently enforces all policies with as little bias as possible.
    Must be reliable and handle all responsibilities within a reasonable amount of time with or without supervision.
    EVENT COORDINATOR DUTIES Brainstorm, plan, create, and present events and contests for GASR members to participate in. Work with the community and accept feedback on ideas of new contests/events for the future, or how to improve those we already have. Host the Bi-Weekly and Artist of the Moment events. Assist members in hosting their own events. Please keep in mind there are no "easy" sections. We work as a team and only have titles so that each section can be prioritized in some fashion.

  2. Technician

    TECHNICIAN
    Responsible for maintaining GASR and attend to all coding aspects of the website. While a moderator position, technicians do not perform general moderator duties. (May be required on an as needed basis)

    Knowledgeable in coding languages; HTML and CSS minimum, Javascript and PHP preferred. Knows how to use the messenger and IM chat system. Can compose topics and posts with formatting.
    Can locate important documentation, such as guidelines, policies, and guides. Must be able to read and write fluently in English. Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
    Has excellent communications skills and works well within a team environment.
    Must be reliable and handle all responsibilities within a reasonable amount of time with or without supervision.
    TECHNICIAN DUTIES Work along side the Site Coordinators to resolve technical issues. Make updates to current features and UI/UX design. Implement new features based on necessity and community feedback. Please keep in mind there are no "easy" sections. We work as a team and only have titles so that each section can be prioritized in some fashion.

  3. Social Media Specialist

    SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
    Responsible for informing and promoting community engagement outside of GASR through various social media platforms. This is not a moderator position.

    SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST DUTIES Update all official social media accounts with the latest news, updates, and information regarding GASR. Promote community engagement outside of GASR through various activities and social media promotion of artists. Participate in staff discussions as needed.  (This is not a moderator position.  Users who apply and are selected will have the same permissions as normal members.) Please keep in mind there are no "easy" sections. We work as a team and only have titles so that each section can be prioritized in some fashion.

  4. General Moderator

    GENERAL MODERATORS
    While this moderator group is separated into different categories, many duties they perform are similar and coincide with each other.
    While all of these moderators help maintain the site, they also have job specific tasks.  General moderators consist of Art Shops & Services Moderators, Miscellaneous Moderators, Mature Content Moderators, and Auction Moderators.

    GENERAL MODERATOR DUTIES Be a proactive member of GASR!  While your responsibilities may take you away from public eye, remember that our users need to know who you are! Enforce all community guidelines and take disciplinary action when necessary when a rule infraction is noticed or reported. Must answer and assist users when they have questions or need help via the help section or the help ticket system. Aid in all necessary cleaning tasks. Each moderator group has regular, separate tasks based on which area of the website they're assigned to.  These tasks will be explained further in depth during training.
